How large is you're collection? How long have you been collecting?

This has probably been asked here before, but I wanna know too. How large is you're collection and how long have you been collecting movies? I've been collecting actively and on-off for about two years. At the moment I've got 284 DVD's and 12 Blu-rays. As a collector I'd say it's not a really large amount. What about you?
