Amazon selling US layout keyboard machines in the UK

I'd like to buy a refurbished T480 but everywhere I look (ie Amazon.co.uk and ebay.co.uk) they're selling them with US keyboards.

Why? And if I replace it with a new En(GB) keyboard how difficult is it to do and will the OS (I'd be using Kubuntu) pick up the new keyboard layout automatically?
