"Kneeling on the floor, leaning my arms on his legs as he's sitting on the leather chair infront of me...I put his fingers in my mouth, twirled my tongue, and looked up at him daringly. I asked him 'Tell me, what do you love most about me?' Without missing a beat he said,
'I love your smile. I love your enchanting complexity and femninity that is you. I love your sense of humor. I love how you challenge me to be better. I love your enthralling scent, and your body responding to mine in many different ways. I crave your spirit and your soul in my life every minute of every single day. I love your intensity and passion. I love the calmness I feel when I'm with you. I love that you show me the real you that no one else gets to see but me. I love that only I get to bathe in your darkness. I love that you give all of yourself to me unreservedly. I love how I have your unwavering trust, and you allow yourself to be totally vulnerable with me. I love how you leave your inhibitions and armor at the door. I love how your eyes have power over me. I love how only you know how to satiate my desires and give me what I need. I love how even after I've had you and we lay spent-I still long for you and have to have you one more time. I love how safe and secure you feel with me. I love that you're mine and mine alone. Sometimes you need to hear that you are the love of my life. Remember all of this as you are over the bed.'
Hearing him say all these things to me...I didn't know the right words to say back to him that would do it justice. So I didn't utter a word. I leaned into him, put my arms around his neck, and kissed him so engulfingly that his breath was taken away and the passionate storms in him fell silent."--©️Michele McKenna, Simple Elegance, Michele McKenna, Writer
