Leather Chaps Purchasing Advice

Hi gang - Unsure if this is quite the right group to ask, but here goes:
I'm getting into leather, and while I'd dearly love to be able to afford some assless leather chaps at The Leatherman NYC or Mr S Leather etc., i just can't. Has anyone had any luck buying cheaper (but still leather) motorcycle chaps from ebay / facebook marketplace etc? my budget is like $100 - 150 absolute max?
