Is it humanly possible to force your brain to get over someone in one day and be able to grow immediately?
When we get broken up with, it takes super long to heal. We keep thinking of the person
In reality, we can always find someone and that our ex was not some 1 in trillion rare person, rather just like anyone else you could find. It's not like we're living on an island of only 50 people
So I'm wondering, is there some psychological trick or way to ignore the heart break and be able to move on in an instant and it feels like you've been single forever
In the past I'd get really hurt by break ups and linger for days and days. Now I'm happy being single and when someone ghosts me, I get more of an ego and turned off and never want to speak to them again
I've been single for so long that I'm actually more comfortable being single than getting into a relationship
I also already have a plan that if I ever get broken up with; if it's over text, I'm going to ignore the text and hope they beg and chase me; if it's in person, I'm just gonna say "Okay I have to go for a second" and literally leave and never contact them again
So is it possible you think with some sort of psychology trick or even way of thinking to get over a breakup in an instant, or at least a few days?
Thanks!!
