Starting from Scratch

I am looking to start a brand new account on my plant parenting. I already have quite a bit content created but i am looking for what the best way to go live. I haven't added any friends or family or even told them about this and kind of dont care to advertise to them anyway. But i honestly dont know how to get out there, do i just start with adding random accounts i find interesting and start engaging? any help would be greatly appreciated.
