Meds and manic episode

I recently started a new medication, its going good overall but im suspecting it might be pushing me into a manic episode. Can this happen? Anyone has had any experience with this? Of course ill talk to my psichuatrist but i have to wait until tomorrow so just asking for advice or some experiences! I have comorbid bpd so i dont know if thats being the issue 😅
