What’s the deal with fireworks so frequent and early?
Lads I’m at my wits end with my poor dog. I’m heartbroken holding him here terrified in the house. The last week there have been fireworks going off around the Mahon/Blackrock area starting just after 2:30pm and lasting in to the night.
Where are they getting them and why is no one stopping it? They must be very easy to get, to be letting them off so frequently and so early before Halloween (not that I approve of them at Halloween either). Is there any point calling the guards when I can’t give a direct location as to where they are being set off? Let’s face it where ever it is, they’ll be well able to scarper from there anyway.
Poor dog is rattling, heart pounding and gets so bad he starts panting and lets out a few cries every now and then. They’re destroying the poor creatures beautiful playful friendly spirit. Makes me want to physically hurt them knowing the amount of dogs in the area feeling like this. Pisses me off it’s carrying on so long when they’re meant to be illegal. Had an ad from the Irish gov warning about them- pop up on a podcast the other day (The rest is history) as if any of the scrotes are listening to podcasts!
Any advice for helping the wee fella? They’re going to end up killing him if this is the carry on for the whole month. I can’t take it.
