Fuji GFX 100s ii - Settings for Tethering into Capture One?
Hey,
I've organised a free trial of a Fuji GFX 100s ii over the weekend and, due to the limited time I'll have with it, I want to limit troubleshooting so I can just get on and shoot! I'm used to shooting with a Canon R5C and this will be my first experience shooting Fuji.
The key things I want to test out:
- How many frames I can shoot in burst mode before the buffer fills up (while tethered into Capture One on a MacBook Pro M4 Max, with an Area 51 10gbps cable)
- How the reduction in bit-depth (which apparently kicks in when shooting in burst mode) affects the images
- Comparing colours (especially with red tones which are quite poor on my Canon) and dynamic range
- Testing out the Fringer and Viltrox EF-GFX adapters to see how I get on converting my Canon lenses (mainly 50mm and 90mm tilt shift)
I've heard various photographers and digi techs say that they've needed to make changes to the default settings of the GFX in order for it to tether properly with C1 - for example I think there's a power over USB setting that needs to be deactivated? But I don't know what the specific settings are that I need to look out for.
Any other words of wisdom that will help get me up and running quickly would be massively appreciated! Thanks all!
