Forgot to activate hardener 2K base

I have used 2K color for the first time and forgot to activate the hardener. Really stupid I know.

My question now is, I've done the colouring on a part that I will switch out in maybe 1 year. Is it ok to just apply some coats of 1k clear coat(don't have the economy atm) and let it be until i switchar he part out. How bad will it turn out?
