Slowing the power curve was wrong. Pay2Win is back
I liked the idea of slowing the power curve. I play Fifa since Fifa 13 and I loved the lack of OP special cards and especially the lack of coins given from rewards. Everyone did not have many coins so gold cards like Agüero, Robben, Ribery, Hazard were quite rare, even at the end of the game.
I was really hyped when EA said they would slow down the power curve and theoretically it was a good idea. But the community shifted. If we are being honest, almost everyone pays a lot of real money for fifa points or at least a lot more people do this than back then.
My problem with this is that pay2win is so fucking back. In last EA FCs/Fifas, every half decent player got enough rewards to get a nice team. But this year? I‘m in div 4, havent spent a penny yet and my team is probably like 50-80k max. I‘m stuck with shitty 78+ packs from objectives and 8000 coins rewards from rivals. Meanwhile every opponent I face in Div 4 has a team which has multiple players worth more than 10x my team. Every game I play I come up against Salah, Raphinha, Yamal, Musiala, Gyokeres, Frenkie etc while I‘m stuck with fucking Kingsley Coman.
In my opinion this is a huge problem for f2p players.
