Why does Layla only ever get “baby” companions?

I love Layla/Aisha; she’s athletic, strong, and one of the best fighters in Winx. But can someone tell me why is she the only one who always gets stuck with the baby companions???

Pixie: Piff (literally a baby who just sleeps).

Fairy Animal: Squonk (crying blob).

Meanwhile, the other Winx get companions that reflect their strength or balance them out. Musa and Tecna even had theirs changed later (that's a rant for another day)! Layla? Always the babysitter.

It feels unfair and lazy. It' s as if the writers only saw her nurturing side and ignored her warrior spirit. She deserved a companion that matched her energy and not just another baby to take care of.
