Teams Message Etiquette?

Ok..."hypothetically."

I work in a field where communication is our literal business. We provide communication. Internal communication is done on Teams.

I have one person at my office who refuses to communicate. AITA to feel like it is rude for this person to read Teams messages & not reply to them ever?
