Nervous to switch (no pun intended) to PC

Hi everyone! I'm like so many of you, ultra frustrated with the graphics and play-quality on the Nintendo Switch, I even have the switch2 and it's no better.

I have never gamed on PC. I have a 4 year old HP laptop that i just recently replaced the 8GB stick of RAM with a 16GB. Do you think my laptop could play DDLV? I know I would have to repurchase the game so I just want to be sure I will actually be able to play it! Any computer buffs in this group able to help me out??
