Volume control

I know this is a little off topic but it has annoyed me for so long and this is the first time I've been able to speak to a developer making a phone I will buy

(Not just me btw, android forums are full of threads complaining about this, only Samsung has a workaround)

Basically I like to fall asleep listening to music/podcasts or whatever. But I find the lowest volume setting is too loud. I imagine having smaller volume incriments at the bottom would be an easy addition
