ANCHOR Error?

I was a renter in 2020-21 so my first two ANCHOR checks reflected that ($450). I purchased a property in 2022. My understanding is that there is no ANCHOR check for 2022-23 and that the new check should be for 2024.

I received my check today and it was once again for $450. I thought that the amount for a homeowner was $1750 (presumably to be split between my partner and I, as we are both on the lease).

I correctly filled out my 2024 NJ tax return with my status as a homeowner and the amount of property tax paid. I received my letter in August that I did not have to do anything manual and that my ANCHOR benefit was approved. I assumed they would calculate the new amount based on my homeowner status (also combined household salary is less than $150k).

Am I totally misunderstanding something and/or is there a way to appeal the amount received?
