Why does everyone act like being "productive" 24/7 is normal?

RANT / VENT 😡😡

Okay, I'm so tired of people acting like if you’re not waking up at 5 AM, running a marathon, journaling, meal-prepping, AND launching a side hustle before work… you’re basically failing at life.

“Just stay consistent!” Yeah, sure, Karen. I’m consistent at hitting snooze 7 times. Where’s the gold medal for that?

“Maximize your mornings!” Okay but what if my mornings are already maximized with scrolling memes and trying not to cry before coffee?

“Discipline over motivation!” Alright then, let me just become a Navy SEAL overnight because apparently if I don’t, I’ll never achieve anything.

Like… can we normalize that most of us are just trying to survive the chaos? Nobody’s actually on top of their game 24/7. Your productivity guru friend with a 17-step morning routine? Yeah, they’re also binge-watching trash TV at 2am and eating cereal for dinner, trust me.

Can we just admit that “balance” looks different for everyone and that it’s okay if you don’t live like a robot optimized for peak output?

Rant over. Thanks for coming to my TED talk nobody signed up for.
