Christmas tree

I know it’s early but I’m a planner

Is anyone doing a Christmas tree this year? How do you plan to block LO from grabbing/eating it and ornaments?

Also: as LO gets older, if born before Xmas do you plan to put up the tree before or after their bday? Idk any Christmas bday people to ask their opinion so I am trying to be considerate of honoring birthday and Christmas separately and I wonder if I should put the tree up after bday. You will probably think I’m overthinking this but I wanted to ask in case anyone had the same thoughts!
