Getting the puppy today!!!!

Hey all! I’m getting my little guy today! I have two viszlas but one of them has come down with lymphoma and I didn’t want his brother to be alone so we took the plunge and are getting our beagle puppy today!

I had a beagle when I was growing up, but that was so long ago that I worry that I am forgetting something. Any tips on how to make my new guy feel welcome, loved, and not overwhelmed on his first day at his forever home are extremely welcome!
