my issue with louie call out in timephoon

while he can call della out, at the same time, it kinda sound like he's deflecting the blame on her when she didn't made him be reckless and do timephoon (she had no idea he was doing this scheme and louie was already scheming way before she came back).It'd not surprise if that actually amde della harsher toward him since from her pov, it'll show louie apology isn't sincere and that he doesn't take responsibillity . Obviously, della coudl've handled the grounding better, but I think she was right to ground him and did needed to learn to discipline her kids, before timephoon she was the "cool mom" who doesn't discipline all that much.
