GFCI/AFCI breaker takes almost a second to trip

I installed a sub panel with 6 GFCI/AFCI CH breakers. When I use my plug tester I need to hold the ground fault button for 1/2 a second to a full second before it trips the breaker. Both testers do this. They trip fine from the breakers test button. This can’t be normal can it? They are all like this. They can’t all be defective right? I can’t imagine a wiring issue that would cause this
