I bought MacBook Pro 2023, activated in April 2024 and have suspicions that has significantly more cycles than I was told so.

I bought used MacBook from a guy who said it's 2023 model, bought in 2024 but he's basically never used it. The laptop looked perfect, not even a single grain of dust so I believed. Now I have some suspicions that it actually might have been used way more than I was told so.

Aldente Pro shows that MacBook's battery was on 137 cycles on 12/09/2025 but when I bought it few weeks later, it showed 6 cycles.

Is there any way the seller could have skewed the cycles so it looks it was only 6?
