Possible Friendship/Affection Bug with Transferred Kartana?

I experienced something strange after transferring a Kartana from UltraSun to Sword via Pokémon HOME.

In UltraSun, I had maxed out both its friendship and affection using berries and 3 rainbow beans. The OT was “Soha”. Then I transferred it to Pokémon Sword, where I also used the same OT name “Soha” (but with a different Trainer ID).

To my surprise, in Sword, Kartana was dodging attacks and landing critical hits—just like Pokémon with high affection in Gen 7. But that shouldn’t happen, right? Since the OT is technically different (due to the new TID), the affection and friendship should have reset.

Even more curious: I transferred a level 2 Lopunny from the same UltraSun save file, raised with max friendship and affection, and it did not show any affection-based behavior in Sword. No dodging, no critical hits, nothing.

So why is Kartana behaving like it retained its affection? Could this be a bug with how Pokémon HOME handles Ultra Beasts or OT name matching?

Has anyone else experienced something similar?
