skipping world elixir?

ok was thinking about using a world elixir for karamelle anyone know how it works. can i use it right after emperyea? would all areas be open so i could collect zeke/eloise quests or would i still have to do the questline to gain access to those areas? if i remember there is a side fire boss to farm for something heidi? thanks
