Sd card from switch 1 isn’t compatible on the switch 2 I need help

Just got a switch 2 and am super paranoid, the sd card I have in my switch 1 (has smash, pokemon games few other things) isn’t compatible with my switch 2 as it’s not express, if I where to transfer data what would happen? I’ve been so paranoid about transferring data for the past couple months and now that I’ve got the switch 2 I’m even more paranoid, I really need help, if someone can give me a run down or message me that would be great, I’ve looked up stuff and tutorials on YouTube but found nothing that can answer my exact questions I have. Please if anyone can help I’d really appreciate it
