Game Plan for my Upcoming Competition

Tournament/Competition

Competing this week vs a Judo Athlete which happens to be multiple times national champion. We are both competing at the beginner category (White belts).

To be fair, I trust my ground game, and I have been a white belt for 3 years (do not judge me this is my coach's decision) and have been working recently on my wrestling. However, against such opponent, I do not think it is wise to out wrestle him.

On the other side, my coach never supports pulling guard as he comes from an MMA background.

I would like to know what you think is a solid plan here. Most probably he is a heavier than me and I have no opponents on my division therefore ill compete on the upper one. I hate to go to any competition without a solid plan and right now, my strengths are mainly guillotine, RNC, and Kimura. Given that he is bigger than me, I doubt I'll be able to kimura him.

+ If anyone has competed against a Judo athlete, what was your experience?
