Search for the best Sinigang part 14

Today our contender is Rico’s Lechon with their Sinigang na Lechon, 490. It had a tamarind based broth with a good amount of sourness, not lacking nor too much. The pork was tender enough, just like how’d expect lechon to be. It had that smoky and lemongrass taste. Though it felt like just literally combining the two as there was no meatiness in the broth, and no sourness penetrated in the meat. Veggies were cooked well, and still had some crunch. Also wished the skin was served separately to maintain its crispiness. They had a good serving size at it’s price and the meat wasn’t too fatty as well. Then, their Beef Caldereta, 490 which was on the sweeter side, it that tomatoey cheesy taste with beef that are tender enough, just not fork-tender. Also loved that the meat had some good sear which added a depth of flavor and smokiness.
