Feeling defeated

So… I went to my endocrinologist and had my yearly ultrasound done. I have a single nodule which I know about but it’s grown a bit and the side that it’s located on is swollen. I’ve had it biopsied a few years ago and have been complaining since my diagnosis that my thyroid feels swollen. I tell my endo and she just sort of ignores the statement and keeps asking me about my symptoms. The initial biopsy showed The nodule is benign. Today I finally got someone (only an ultrasound tech) to acknowledge that one side of my thyroid is actually swollen . Im wondering if any of you have experience with this. What did you do about it? How do I get the swelling to go down? Also I’m going to get it biopsied again since it grew a little bit.
