2nd Gen versus 3td Gen Cayenne?

I'm looking at purchasing a 2017 Cayenne Platinum with the naturally aspirated v6 or a 2019 Cayenne S. The Cayenne S is about $5k more expensive. Which would be a better buy? What are some of the biggest differences? Will the 2017 be more reliable?
