Gold is only 2.96% away from reaching 4,000 USD per ounce. What could that mean for silver?
Since gold is getting very close to the 4,000 USD per ounce level, I wonder what your predictions are for silver going forward and the future.
I have two guesses:
- It will soft-cap silver at least around 40 USD per ounce, since the gold-to-silver ratio rarely goes higher than 1/100.
- The price may start seeing some resistance once gold moves above 4,000 USD and silver above 50 USD pr. ounce, as some people may want to cash in profits.
What do you think?
