Mini OPK Surge?

Hello!

I am 4 months out from my ectopic and 1 month out from a chemical (so my hormones are a little out of whack) but I have been tracking BBT & LH and trying to understand what is happening. I was spotting a little after my period so I knew ovulation would be a little later than usual for me, but my BBT stayed more elevated than normal as well.

I have now started to have EWCM, I had an OPK that read 0.6 yesterday, I had a temp drop this morning (this is usual for me, I usually dip before ovulation), but my OPK from this morning went down (0.4).

I know that’s now a HUGE decrease, but I was expecting it to be 0.8+ if it was following the pattern of my other cycles. I can’t tell if it’s just my hormones still out of whack, if I tested too early? (My first morning pee was at 7, and then I tested at 9:30) or if I just had a mini surge before my actual positive?

I would love to hear your thoughts or any similar stories of rising then decreasing LH tests before the actual peak?
