Hiking boots - soaked now moldy

Help me save my favorite boots! I have a pair of Columbia brand hiking boots that got completely soaked from nasty puddles and creek water. I thought I did a good job of cleaning and air drying them. They still smelled bad. Pulled out the insoles and there's mold that has formed. What can I do?
