My Girlfriend is struggling with A Levels and I need advice

My girlfriend is struggling with her A levels, she's in year 13 and she takes english lit, economics and psychology. She struggles most with english so I am looking for advice on things she could do that will really help her push her grade and feel more confident about her knowledge in every subject.
