Septril Issues

I have a four year old healed Septril. Just moved to an arid climate and started having issues with a white pimple like bump appearing. I had this when it was in the healing process four years ago. I considered it part of the cartilage piercing process. Now that it’s healed, I’m thinking it’s from the dryness in my new location.

I have it sized properly, with threadless neometal labret style jewelry (Titanium). I clean it with saline after showering or washing my face because my septum is stretched to a 4g, providing access to my Septril. I’m making sure no soap or product gets lodged inside. I also started applying a thin layer antibiotic ointment inside & out today becausemy nose bled when acclimating to the dry climate and figured it may need a bit more moisture.

Any suggestions on care for avoiding future bumps would be awesome.
