Got a warning from Instagram about reposting content — what can I do?
Hey guys, today I got a warning from Instagram saying that the videos I post are not original. I run an Instagram page about Italy where I share videos about Italy that I find on TikTok: I download them and repost them on my page. I know they’re not my original content, but I’m wondering — how do other pages get away with this?
Instagram told me that if I don’t remove the non-original content, my account won’t show up on Explore, Reels, etc. Is there any way to fix this? For example, if I add a watermark, a black border, or slightly edit the video, would that help avoid these problems? Because I don’t think users are reporting me — I think it’s the algorithm.
