please help with the tapering on 12.5mg

hello , i need your guidance on tapering of paroxteine. i took 12.5mg for about 1.5months, and then took 25mg in middle for 5 days, then got side effects which are intolerable. so i am back to 12mg (controlled release,) no (immediate release) ir form is available in my city, so i tried alternative days, but now i am having fever like symptoms and lot of fatigue. should i start with 10mg fluoxetine?
