Question about the new government.

Hi. Im iranian and yes I know my government is a bunch of decaying fossils that helped assad destroy syria and destabilise the beautiful country of syria with rich history and culture, I hate them alot too because they are evil and I could never understand the bad things you guys went through.

But I also have a question who is the new leader of syria and what is his idealogy?is he a leftist? A rightist? A democrat or authoritarian... I know it is too soon to tell but when I tried searching about him his life was very confusing.he was considered a terrorist but is now backed by a lot of Western countries so I just wanted to know if he is really good?do you guys like him?what is his idealogy?I know he will definitely be better than assad but assad is a very low standard considering the horrible things he did...sorry again for asking i know Syrians are not very fond of iranians because our government ruined your country. I would just appreciate if someone would explain it to me.
