How often do you send home parent communication?

A parent complained to the principal that were lacking communication for her SK son. He has ASD if that adds any relevance, but we see her every day at pickup and she’s never expressed this to us. I send seesaw messages home multiple times a week with class news updates or school events. Sometimes I directly address her with behavioural updates. I send monthly calendars and I’ve sent a newsletter too. It’s only the start of October and I feel I’ve done a lot to communicate. If she’s ever had an issue or question she can email, message, or speak to us at the end of the day. Last year, parents actually thanked us for such frequent communication. Am I communicating enough? What would you do in this situation?
