Boyfriend Struggling to Find Work

My boyfriend of 4 years has struggled with Double Deficit Dyslexia for all of his life, he took many additional school classes to try to help make reading and writing a little easier for him but had no other help outside of school (his family would just do all the work for him/didn't continue the support at home). Because of this he is stuck at around a 2nd grade reading level and his writing level is even lower. I don't mind at all that he can't read that well and I work with him a lot on shorter words/common phrases, so he is at least familiar with them in case there is nobody around to help him. This has been a severe burden on him, and he feels very ashamed although I try my best to reassure him that it isn't his fault. It is more accurate to say he is closer to being illiterate. Because he has such difficulty reading and writing he has also been struggling to find a job that would either accommodate him or be a good fit (as in not a lot of reading/writing required, more hands-on). I want to help him and want him to feel good about himself because he is such a good person, seeing him get so down on himself over this disability hurts me. Does anyone else who has severe Dyslexia/Double Deficit have any suggestions on what kind of jobs would be good for him? Any suggestions are appreciated :)
