Packing ideas for 2 month trip

Hey everyone! I’m from very north England coming to Bonn for 2 months for an academic visit 13 October until 8th December and have no idea what I should pack! Any suggestions about costs, thermals etc? I will be visiting Switzerland also. Any recommendations for places to visit near Bonn would be very welcomed also :)
