Flying isn't for everyone
I see posts all the time of people asking if they can / should become a pilot.
It's way more glamourous on social media than it is in real life.
I can go on and on about why/how etc. But the bottom line is that flying isn't for everyone. If you are in your twenties, this could be a great option for you so long that you are physically fit, mentally sharp and have great vision as well as hearing.
The older you get, the harder it becomes. I don’t see how individuals over 35 are considering making this a career excluding those who just want to become a flight instructor. If you start at 35, you won’t be getting your airline transport certificate until you’re at least 38, then you will be spending another 5 to 10 years being away from your friends and family for 10 to 21 days at a time before you reach captain.
Anyone can do this. Few people can do this and thrive to the the best of their potential. Best of luck to all of you!
