Are licenses required to play Bollywood music at a hotels in Hyderabad ?

The hotel where we are hosting the mehendi function for my wedding is asking for licenses to play songs & dance at the wedding .

From what we were told it’s not very easy to procure , complicated , time consuming and expensive !

Has someone done it recently ? What is the process, how much does it cost and can the DJ take care of it ?
