Skipping ads in the middle of writing comments on mobile.

I'm surprised to see nobody else comment on this. Currently, in order to pause the writing of a comment, skip an ad, then return to writing said comment on the YouTube app for mobile devices, you must make use of your clipboard. See, when attempting to minimize the keyboarding window which pops up to allow you to type your comment, instead of minimization it closes after serving a pop-up to gather consent to discard. This makes zero sense, please change. I should be able to minimize a comments section without discarding my typing. There's not a one technical limitation stopping this, unhindered free speech just scares you (tube).
