Kanne hated that she didn’t know as much as Lawine did. She hated that she always relied on her knowledge. She hated that her magic was more efficient, and nowhere near as conditional as her own water.

Lawine hated how positive Kanne was. She hated that Kanne was always able to see the good side. She hated her raw power as a mage, and she hated her cowardice.
