The point of skins when you've been playing for years

Hi all

This has probably been asked before, but I'll ask here.

Having played Fortnite since Chapter 1 Season 5, I've got hundreds and hundreds of skins. Not a flex. Just a fact of playing for so long.

So I play Fortnite for fun. Once upon a time it would be because I didn't have an umbrella, or many umbrellas, or many skins. But now with lots of those, the thought of more doesn't seem to have much point. So I play purely for fun. And sometimes something special will come along, and I absolutely want it.

What's prompted the question is, seeing some of the disappointment over the OG Season 6 skins. Who's playing for skins anymore? Does it really matter if you've got hundreds of skins already? I'd imagine most of you reading this already do...
