Lease ending soon - $899CAD Administration fee?

Hey folks! My wife’s lease is ending shortly (this month) and we’ve been told that we need to pay an administrative fee of $899 CAD to close her lease and buy the vehicle. This fee is in addition to the amount to purchase the vehicle and taxes on that amount.

Can anyone confirm that this is standard? I was expecting $400, so the $899 came as a shock. Maybe it’s legit, but I wanted to confirm. I did check the lease but couldn’t find anything referencing that amount. Thanks in advance.
