How common is oral sex amongst married couples?

My wife is kinda hygiene freak and isn't into Oral as much as I wish. She worries about infections from pre cum etc and thinks it's not common enough amongst everyday normal couple.

How often do you engage in Oral sex? What all precautions do you take to respect your partner. Thanks.
