Annual Pass for someone else

Hi, friends! I was wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. My dad is looking to buy my mom an annual pass for her birthday. Is there a way he can purchase it without her getting a notification about absolutely anything Disney related? I'm not sure if he could buy it himself, and then transfer it to her? Idk! Please help!
