Trying to get back on my feet, 2 kids, empty pantry.

I have been out of work for a year due to a spinal injury. Income has been slim. We lost our second vehicle to collections, and so we just have 1 little car to get all of us around. My boyfriend just started a new job and they messed up his payroll so we’ve got next to nothing to feed 2 kids. I’ve got maybe $50 to my name to cover gas for the week, full knowing that isn’t going to be enough. Our cupboards are bare, I’ve exhausted friends and family that can send us money, as we have to pay them all back soon.

I am absolutely embarrassed to ask for food, but wondering if someone has a kind heart out there to help my kids eat for the week?
