Using 30k units in 40k

Hello, i just saw the new mechanicum battle force and since i REALLY love the models, i would like to buy them, but i read online that 30k and 40k rules are not really compatibile, i usually play with my father and sometimes a few friends, nothing competitive, Is there someway i can modify their rules to make them compatible?
